This year Blooms is collaborating with CIPPO as we take inclusion to a whole new level!

Blooms + is a program inclusive to all neurodiverse children. We aim to integrate and accommodate for children with ASD, ADHD, behavioural struggles , social & communication deficits, different developmental backgrounds, and all other challenges. By providing all necessary accommodations for skills development and successful integration at camp, your child is guaranteed to have a ton of fun!

CIPPO is an organization that works on developing the social and emotional skills of children and adolescents through various programs in the children’s natural environments. We believe that every child should be explicitly taught social emotional skills which will help them understand themselves, manage their thoughts and behaviours, express empathy towards others, understand the society around them, and make good decisions. Additionally, we believe that children who may have social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties or special needs should be included and supported along with other children. This is done through providing accommodations for children and integrating them into mainstream settings with the aim of developing their social-emotional skills and their psychological competencies. In Blooms, we will provide trained integration teachers (facilitators) to support the children who need additional support in participating in the camp. While we provide one-to-one support, our aim remains to allow the child to engage with the other children and facilitators as independently as possible. Integration teachers will support with tools for social-emotional development, conflict resolution, among other strategies to get the children to fully enjoy their camp experience!
